What’s next for video booths at SXSW?
The biggest change from SXSW 2015 is that video booths are no longer a novelty.
Instead, the next year’s show will include a host of new video games, entertainment experiences, and technology like virtual reality headsets.
The show will be live streamed, and there will be a video booth at the show’s final event, which will take place at the Austin Convention Center on March 9th.
The new lineup will be dominated by a number of new and upcoming titles.
One of the biggest is the first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which is slated to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
It will be the first major title released for consoles this year.
Call of Heroes, a cooperative online shooter, will debut next year, and Sony will introduce a PlayStation VR headset.
The second biggest new game announced is Super Mario Odyssey, a platforming game that will be released this year for the PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360.
It’s also the first game to support VR.
There’s also an exclusive title called the Oculus Rift, which has been rumored for a while.
Finally, the big surprise of the year is a VR movie, a collaboration between Disney and Warner Bros. called The Batman VR Experience.
It is said to have a story, characters, and music that will bring Batman to life in VR.
The big thing to remember is that the SXSW conference has no limits on content.
In fact, the first year of the show had a whopping 8,000 exhibitors.
This year, there will only be 800 people in the booth for the live stream.
So, even though the lineup is small, the number of attendees will be significant.
